For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. — 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (ESV)

Those who preach a counterfeit Gospel are crafty. They tell us what we want to hear, rather than what we need to hear. Can you detect when someone’s teaching is contrary to the Word of God? They prey on the weak and immature believers in order to draw them away from the church.
