While it is not possible for you or for me to personally go everywhere to minister to all peoples, there is the possibility of a large ripple effect due to our faithfulness in sharing the Gospel and making disciples of Christ. In His providence, God placed Paul in the City of Ephesus for two years during his third missionary journey. Due to the strategic location of the city and Paul’s incredible faithfulness, “all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.” Did you catch that? In only two years, the Gospel spread through all of Asia! Ephesus was situated along an important trade route, and all of those passing through were hearing the Gospel. In turn, they took the Gospel throughout Asia. As in the case of Paul in Ephesus, being faithful where you are could have far-reaching impact. You never know how someone you are discipling may change the world.
